Program Description:

The Phoebe Hearst Museum of Anthropology at the University of California, Berkeley cares for nearly four million objects than span 2 million years and the six inhabited continents. In this program, students will explore different aspects of museum careers, including collections management, registration, informatics, cultural policy, fundraising, and education programming. Students will apply their knowledge and skills to a handful of on-going museum projects through modules and workshops. Students will also receive behind-the-scenes tours of Bay Area museums.
